Are you a small business owner or office manager who's frustrated with the complexities of your book keeping system? The University of Northern Iowa's, Regional Business Center/Small Business Development Center will offer a three-session QuickBooks Pro course in May. Intuit's 'QuickBooks Pro' software can streamline the time-consuming and often stressful task of managing your books.  The course will start with basic QuickBooks functions, including how to set preferences, establish charts of business accounts, enter invoices and bills, and create financial statements.  Each course is suitable for entry-level and advanced QuickBooks users.  Participants will work in small classes and receive one-on-one attention.  The instructor will be Judy Schindel, of Gary L. Karr Accounting, a certified public accountant and a certified QuickBooks trainer.
The course will be May 27, 29 and June 5, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the UNI RBC/SBDC, 212 E. 4th St., Waterloo. The cost of the training is $189 per person, which includes instructional manual, but not software.
